By accessing our website, creating an account, submitting information, or using any ZeneX service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
2. About ZeneX
ZeneX is a financial technology company being built to improve the cross-border payment experience for African freelancers, remote workers, and small and medium-sized businesses.
Our focus is not only on the movement of money, but also on the experience surrounding international payments, including visibility, communication, transparency, support, and settlement information.
Certain payment, collection, conversion, settlement, or payout services may be provided through or supported by third-party financial infrastructure providers.
The availability of specific services depends on applicable payment infrastructure, user eligibility, geography, regulatory requirements, and partner approval.
3. Eligibility
To use ZeneX services, you must provide accurate and complete information required for registration, verification, or onboarding.
Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or expressly stated by ZeneX, users must be at least 18 years old.
You may not use ZeneX on behalf of another person or business unless you are legally authorized to do so.
For business accounts, you confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of the business.
4. Account Registration and Verification
Certain ZeneX services may require you to create an account and complete identity or business verification. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Update information when it changes.
- Provide requested verification documents.
- Cooperate with applicable KYC/KYB processes.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Notify ZeneX promptly of unauthorized access or suspected account compromise.
ZeneX may decline, suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, risk-management, or operational reasons.
5. Using ZeneX Services
You agree to use ZeneX only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use ZeneX to:
- Conduct fraudulent activities.

6. Payments and Transactions
Where applicable, ZeneX may facilitate or provide access to payment-related services through appropriate financial infrastructure and third-party partners.
Payment methods, supported currencies, transaction limits, processing times, fees, settlement options, and availability may vary depending on:
- User location
- User eligibility
- Payment method
- Currency
- Infrastructure partner
- Regulatory requirements
- Transaction characteristics
- Risk and compliance requirements
A payment instruction does not necessarily mean that a transaction will be successfully completed.
Transactions may be delayed, declined, reversed, restricted, or subject to additional review where required by applicable law, financial institutions, infrastructure partners, or risk and compliance processes.
7. Fees, Rates and Charges
Where applicable, ZeneX may charge:
- Transaction fees
- FX or currency-conversion fees
- Subscription fees
- Other applicable service charges
Applicable fees and charges will be communicated before or during the relevant transaction or subscription process, as appropriate.
Where currency conversion applies, the applicable exchange rate or conversion terms will be communicated through the relevant transaction process.
ZeneX does not currently represent that one fixed fee or percentage applies to every transaction. Fees may vary according to the applicable service, transaction, currency, user type, infrastructure provider, or other relevant factors.
8. Third-Party Financial Infrastructure
ZeneX may rely on third-party financial institutions, payment processors, banks, FX providers, identity-verification providers, technology providers, and other infrastructure partners.
These providers may have their own:
- Terms of service
- Privacy policies
- Eligibility requirements
- Transaction limits
- Compliance procedures
- Fees
- Restrictions
Your use of services provided through such partners may therefore be subject to their applicable terms in addition to these Terms. ZeneX does not represent that every third-party service will always be available.
9. Payment Delays, Restrictions and Reviews
International payments may sometimes experience delays or require additional review. This may occur because of:
- Compliance checks
- Identity verification
- Fraud or risk reviews
- Payment-provider requirements
- Banking processes
- Technical issues

- Regulatory requirements
Where reasonably possible, ZeneX will communicate relevant information about significant payment issues or actions required from the user. However, ZeneX cannot guarantee that every transaction will be processed within a particular timeframe.
